Attending the Goldsmiths Company Summer School in July 2009, the direct focus was on enhancing creativity through drawing, without any obvious inspiration, which allowed the designer to develop a new way of working. Her initial aesthetic inspiration was drawn from an organic, personal design process that she had developed, resulting in fluid, spontaneous drawings. Realising the designs through a digital medium and traditional practice has allowed the designer to create graceful, but structured forms within her work.
The collaboration between Rapid Prototyping technology, casting and hand forming techniques has allowed the designer to create graceful, but structured forms within her work, and is a predominant feature in her Degree Show 2010 collective.
Lisa is currently studying a postgraduate Master of Design (MDes) at DJCAD, The University of Dundee, to be completed in September 2011.
